Taking My Home Troop/Crew
For the first time, the council is offering an opportunity for home troops and crews to attend the Jamboree and provide their own adult leadership.
Troops will consist of 36 youth and 4 adults.
Crews will have 9 Venture Scouts and one adult Advisor if they are all of the same gender or 8 youth and one male and one female adult Advisor if the genders are mixed.
Requirements to take your own troop
* To go as a home troop you must have 24 scouts – registered and paid up to date by March 21, 2012
* Up to date on payments by March 31, 2012 would be $350 for each youth and $300
for each adult (payment schedule)
* Every scout needs to register individually - Scouts will be placed under the correct Scoutmaster at a later date
* Adults need to register individually as council adults. These leaders will also
be grouped together at a later date
There is financial aid available to assist the YOUTH scouts in need >> Camperships and Financial Aid
