                                    “Jambo-What?   What’s That?”
Get yourself to the 2013 National Scout Jamboree at the Summit. You won't want to miss out!  Imagine a summer camp or camporee — times 40,000. The national Scout jamboree is a gathering of over 40,000 Scouts from all over the country (and abroad, too!)  that is hosted by the Boy Scouts of America. It is held every 4 years, and for  the first time in 2013, it will be at the Summit Bechtel Reserve in West  Virginia.

If you’re into whitewater rafting, rock climbing, zip lining and action-packed activities, your addiction to adrenaline will be perfectly satisfied at the 2013 National Scout Jamboree. If you’re more suited to science, technology, conservation, history and fellowship, the Jamboree will nurture your skills and provide you with cutting-edge resources, displays and information to interact  with.

Combined with award-winning shows, celebrities, service to others and lasting friendships, the 2013 National Scout Jamboree is the epitome of Scouting experiences, where you can GO BIG and GET WILD. Oh, and did we mention some of the world’s best patch trading?

The clock is ticking. The 2013 National Scout Jamboree is less than 18 months away, and when you’re making plans for 40,000-plus people, that’s not a very long time. The jamboree team needs time to develop an experience that is tailored just for you! And, with Scouts from all over the country eager to attend, slots are filling up quickly.
